| Whn it comes to which graphic card utlized the most in your usual notebook, it oughta be Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100; because its cheaper and more affordable to use. But when it come to performance-wise, you would say it's just average. Your computer will run just fine with your usual Windows application like MWord and MExcel, but when you try to play hardcore games like DOTA and DMC4, it'll totally lag in gameplay and, sometimes, crashes your notebook which you totally dun wanna happen to ur dear nb
Whereas, the NVidia GeForce 9100M G, a new gpu produced by NVidia (and for the time being, only found in the Acer Aspire 4530) which is comparable in performance with NVidia GeForce 8400G, is much better than X3100. When it comes to gaming-wise, X3100 benchmarks in, like, 100th++ Whereas 9100MG would definitely clock in at 70th+ place. Most of us Yaoi lovers, whenever we see the tagline 'bara', we would immediately wheel away from the title.
but not me.
Bara = Muscleman Love ~<3 is so rare, that in some wicked, twisted sorta way, I find it very interesting to read.
especially when the uke are buffier than the seme. XD XD
Coz in mainstream Yaoi, the uke is literally smaller, petite, more childlike than their taller, cooler, more muscular seme to the point that they look more like flat-chested girls with an extra small appendage attached down there. Which basicaly turns me off cold turkey, period.
Whereas all the charactors in the bara genre are all bulky and buffy and most of the time too big perhaps but hey that's what bara's all about: big size, all muscles ehem with extra large appendage ehem , alike, with the uke at times bigger than the seme. This is what interest me to bara; it's different from what I usually find in the Yaoi world.
Kudos to Gabriel31 who single-handedly scanlated al those bara oneshots in Aarinfantasy~!! XD

| For the last 2 week I've been searching for a notebook.
But the ones I'm searching for are specifically for are GAMING NOTEBOOKS.
Why Gaming Notebooks you ask.
Oh well, very simple:
I WANT TO PLAY DEVIL MAY CRY 4 ~~~
The specs of a gaming notebook versus those for basic student or business use are fairly different. Students with only asic needs of presentations and assignments can buy those $500 notebooks with 512mb ram and 40Gb hand disk and could still do their work well. But if you tried to play games with high definition,it'll lag so much that you'd be pulling you har off your scalp out of frustation cos your enemy had just pwned you on the other side of the wrold
Whereas, if you're a gaming enthusias, you should've at least have a Intel Core Duo processor with 2GB ram, 160Gb HD and at least video memory of 256 MB NVidia Geforce 8600M G.
And to get those kinda specs would get you back for, like, at least 1.5k. crazy, no?
But the gamingeerience youd be excellent, with great graphics and DMC4!!!! crazie girl going looney...
Because the fact that the true blue gaming notebooks are totally rip-off, so I'm opting to those more afforedable notebooks with good specs. which is not 2nd hand, coz my mom forbids me to buy one

| Went out to a movie date with my friend and his groupies from his univ to watch The Dark Knight.
And my eyes were practically glued to the screen.
Why?
Coz the movie's totally AWESOME man!!!
The Joker was craaaaazie~ I like hiiim~~ WTFH areyououtofyourmind,dude???
Our superhero Batman was angst-ing all over the screen forget the babes with big boobies My Wayne practically drags around with him everywhere he goes. ;p
And the birth of Two Face~~ aaaaw, Mr DA went looney ha ha!!
This movie is one of those of which I really enjoyed, for a fact that I can't predict how's the ending gonna be. When the Joker was caught, I tought 'aaaw, man, it's ending already?' and suddenly KABOOOOM!! Bat's gf died.
Talk about great storyline. XD
I'll give it a 9/10
Can't say the same with Hellboy II though. There were too much dialogue and the ending was really predictable. which would be the princess kills herself & drags her bro to death with her and the good wins again!! ...and I got it right. geh. I was falling to sleep back then tooo....

After just 2 weeks of not checking Aarinfantasy forum, I've missed out on quite a lot...
And is currently downloading half a Gig worth of scanlations, and the number's increasing... TvT
(when would i find the time to read these?? I haven't even finished my project proposal... I havent even had the chance to watch the last 7 episodes of animes I've just downloaded today... not to forget the whole 5GB worth of animes I downloaded since a few months which I didn't even take a peek to at all..;;;;)

| Currently, I'm interested in buying two things: a new notebook and a 2nd hand wi-fi phone
Never in my ife i've imagined a pricetag that can be attached to a cellphone...
I had just noticed the plain fact that if I wanna buy a notebeek, I'd hafta sacrifice my would-be wi-fi phone, which is a Nokia N81...
Why?
Coz the plain fact that N81'S COSTS HALF THE PRICE OF THE NOTEBOOK I intended on buying!!
I was going like "OMGWTF, doireallyneedtochoosefromthosetwo?iwantbothbutwhyisitsopricey~~!! UWAAAAAAA!!!"
At first, I was considering buying an N80 which costs bout half the price of an N81, even found a dealer who'd sell it for less than US$200, but then my friend stepped up and said. "It's really bulky. You sure you wanna buy it?"
And I was like, 'huh, really?'
When I looked for the specs on the web, the thickness of an N80 is 27mm.
That's 2.7cm.
That's, like, thicker than my hand, dude.
I'm already used to my ultra-thin Motorola L7, which is only like 9mm thick. A sudden transition to a phone twice as heavy and THREE TIMES AS THICK would give me mobile traumas~~!!
.... cancelled the deal.

| advice to any notebook owners.
if you always carry your notebook around with you,
NEVER LEAVE THE NOTEBOOK AWAY FROM ARM'S REACH
definitely not in the car, or your class, or office, or even just for half a minute in the loo with the safety cord attached. nor leave it to ur fren to watch out for a bit.
it won't be safe on its own. Period.
Even if u leave it at ur home, always hide it out of sight. or at least attach it to a safety cord AND away from any openings to the outside (door, windows, any holes at all that can fit ur notebook)
oh yeah, also
MAKE BACK-UPS OF IMPORTANT FILES

recounts of my family's & others' experiences:
just moved to a new home.
went out to for less than 2 hours pray.
come back,
& found the window was peeled off
phones & pc were missing
even the money in my pants pocket were lost...
grilled up the whole house within the week
& never left home unattended (even on big festivities, dont even dare to leave our home...)
my dad once had his notebook stolen when he left it in his car for less than a few minutes.
UNLOCKED. my dad's too trusting of a guy sumtimes...
never heard/see/think(?) about it since.
(I was the one crying. my final year project proposal, assignments, downloads, etc all were in there~! and most of em have no back ups for gods sake!!)
my iranian friend was going for his friday prayers.
left the notebook under the passanger seat.
wadaya know.
he comes back an hour later.
found his window busted
& his notebook missing.
has to redo most of his thesis studies which was almost done AGAIN.
my friend's friend left the notebook on the in the dorm room.
came back from class
the door was unlocked
& the notebook was missing
was never found since.
(repeat 4x. alternate: window broken, lock busted)
all are tragic stories, but this is what happens every day
conclusion: either u BE EXTRA CREFUL or dun own a notebook at all.
PS: i stil hope i can find back my dad's dear lappy, but its near to impossible and i've accepted that... | |
